Second song of Christmas

The second Christmas song is Jingle Bell (Kari) by Miyavi.

This is actually one of my favorite Miyavi songs. I think this song really shows his vocal ability, he sounds amazing in it. This song is relatively slow, but it does pick up towards the end. The song is a play on a Japanese folk song. It has almost the same exact harmony as the folk song. This song also has random English and French lines thrown in for good measure. The actual lyrics to the song are all over the place, but it's still a nice song. This song was released in 2002 as a single, but no PV was made for this song. Miyavi also has another Christmas themed song, MERI- kurushimiMASU death ~fuyu, Toraum, zekkyou, gyakugire~. Translating as
Merry Painful death~winter, Torauma, Screams, Hot Headed~. But it envolves a lot of screaming and very little to do with Christmas.

Anyway enjoy Jingle Bell (False). Also enjoy Miyavi making one hot Santa.

Uchi's possible comeback

Former NEWS and Kanjani8 member Hiroki Uchi, has just finished his first solo concerts in Yokohama on December 20-21. He will also being doing more solo concerts in Osaka on January 3-4.
Hiroki Uchi was involved in an underage drinking scandal on July, 16 2005 and suspended from Johnny's. And also was demoted to trainee in December of 2006. Uchi also made his official come back as an actor during the press conference of Isshun no Kaze ni Nare.
It has also yet to be decided whether he will remain solo or rejoin NEWS. It's obvious that these concerts would decide his fate in Johnny's Entertainment.

As for my take on the whole situation I have a very distinct opinion, which is I don't care either way. But if you have to do anything with him give him a solo career. And here's why.

Reason number 1: Probably the least legit reason of all. NEWS is better as a 6 person unit. It's been about two years since NEWS came back, so why change now? If they really wanted Uchi or Kusano back wouldn't they have already? They could have easily let them be on hiatus for a year, like all of NEWS, and had them rejoin in 2006 with a slap on the wrist.

Reason number 2: Uchi isn't that good of a singer. In my opinion Uchi's voice is very boring. And I have a lot of trouble even telling when he's actually singing. His voice fades more into the background. Even his solo lines come off as sounding weird and almost awkward.

Reason number 3: You can't have one without the other. What's the point of brining Uchi back without Kusano. They came into NEWS together. They both got suspended for similar reasons. They should both come back at the same time. If you only bring one person back it almost makes it seem like what Uchi did was ok or wasn't on the same level as what Kusano did. But it was the same crime. So that aspect doesn't make sense to me.

Reason number 4: Johnny's is playing favorites. This really seems like a big slap in the face to Kusano. It almost makes it seem like Uchi has been given special treatment. Kusano's future in Johnny's has always been very murky but Uchi has had definite plans. He has come back as an actor, while there has been no official word as to what Kusano's doing. If he wasn't in Shoentai Playzone with Uchi he wouldn't have done anything since being suspended.

Reason number 5: If they keep any member it should be Kusano. I can honestly say that Kusano is a better singer than Uchi. If you compare their voices in Teppen or even Fiesta Kusano's voice outshines Uchi's. Kusano is a very talented singer and was even given more lines in NEWS than Uchi got.

Reason number 6: Pairing madness. Most fans of NEWS know that the current members of NEWS are paired up for singing and fangirl reasons. The current pairings are RyoPi, KoyaShige, and TegoMass. Uchi being back in NEWS would throw off the whole balance. It really can't be RyUchiPi. Could it? This reason isn't really legit either, but it's just a thought I had.

There is still one aspect I am not clear of. Just how popular is Uchi? Uchi was in both NEWS and Kanjani8. But was that based on vocal ability or just the fact that he was from the Kansai region of Japan. I wasn't a NEWS fan when Uchi was a member, so I have no idea how popular he was or still is.
There is only one completely stupid and fangir-ish reason why Uchi should return to NEWS. And that reason is Uchi and Ryo were really good friends. And I think Uchi returning to NEWS would make Ryo very happy. I'M LAME!

If Uchi does come back as a member of NEWS, I guess I will just have to grin and bare it. And get used to seeing his bird face again. Sorry Uchi fans, he's weird looking. But if it was up to me I'd give him the boot. Or excuse me, I mean I'd give him a "solo career."

First song of Christmas

Since it's getting really close to Christmas I thought I'd post one Christmas song a day until the 25th. Some of these songs are more winter songs than Christmas but that's ok.

Chrsitmas song Number one: Snow Express by NEWS

A snow themed song about winter love. Sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

Tommy's back!

Wow this song flew right under my radar. I haven't kept up with Tommy Heavenly6 lately, because I assumed since she was back with The Brilliant Green she wasn't going to release solo stuff for a while. She didn't even make it clear whether she would continue here solo projects or not. But what they say about assuming is true. Tommy is finally back! And I couldn't be happier. It's almost been two years since her last solo release, Heavy Starry Chain. But the wait is worth it. I am a HUGE Tomoko fan. I fell in love with her after I heard Rainy Days Never Stays. Anyway, Paper Moon was released on December 10, and is the second opening theme for the anime Soul Eater.

The song is pretty good. My only complaint is that it sounds like every other song she's done. The music itself sounds like a mix of three other songs by her. And the lyrics are very Tommy like. A bunch of random English lines thrown in. Her lyrics are always cute and on the border line of almost not making sense.

As for the video, it has a Wizard of Oz theme. Which I don't like. I think I'm the only one on the planet who hates The Wizard of Oz. Tommy always has the weirdest videos. And most of the time are connected or a continuation of sorts.

Move over Tommy this is my video!

*head bop head bop head bop*

Tommy video is SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Is that a tornado? Eh who cares.

I make Dorothy look sexy~

Oh hi, I just flew in from the I Love XMAS video

OWNED!

Enjoy the video Tommy fans!

Top 20 of 2008

With 2008 coming to a close, it seems like an end of many things. Elder Club, Haramoni@, and possibly Leah Dizon. And it seems like you can't turn on the TV without seeing some sort of yearly countdown show. So, I decided to make my top 20 songs of 2008. I'm sure the songs I picked are probably not the most popular or best selling songs of 2008. Mostly because a huge chunk of the music I listen is Hello!Project, NEWS, and random Jrock bands. I didn't even bother to listen to 3/4 of the songs that made in on oricon's top 100 singles of 2008. But that's not important.

I also limited it to one song per artist so it's not like NEWS, NEWS, NEWS, Ai Otsuka, NEWS, NEWS, NEWS. I'll also give a short explanation of why I picked each song.

20. LM.C- Chemical King Twoon
19. Ayumi Hamasaki- Mirrorcle World
18. Koda Kumi - Moon Crying
17. Gazette- Guren
16. C-ute- Namida no Iro

Number 20: I'm actually a really big LM.C fan. And this song is pretty much amazing. 88 was so close to beating this, but I think the fact that Aiji sings in this song made it better. Number 19: There are only a few Ayumi songs I actually like, while this song isn't my favorite by her I still think the song is good. It's sung very well and I absolutely love the music, it's very mysterious. It's so low on the list because the lyrics in my opinion are weird and repetition isn't always key. Number 18: Even though I am not really fond of ballads, I can't deny how great this song is. Kumi's voice is really suited for ballads ad she sounds amazing in this song. And the lyrics are so sad, I get choked up listening to them. Or maybe it's just seeing Kumi cry. Number 17: Being a pretty big Gazette fan I kinda expected more from them. The song is very pretty but I prefer Gazette's heavier songs. I don't really care for this monster ballad. Number 16: This is defiantly my favorite C-ute single in 2008. It's another sad song. But it's not overly sad, since it is a song about saying goodbye and feeling refreshed. While this song is good it's not good enough to be placed higher on my list.

15. L'Arc~en~ciel- Drink It Down
14. Arashi- One Love
13. An Cafe- Summer Dive
12. Perfume- Baby cruising Love
11. Buono!- Gachinko De Ikou

Number 15: This is actually the second song I've ever heard by L'Arc~en~ciel, Ready Set Go being the first. I never really noticed before how good of a singer Hyde really is. Since I can't find a translation for this song, this is based on how it sounds alone. And the music is awesome, creepy but almost toned down. And Hyde is looking hot in the video. It's strange because I don't really think he's attractive any other time. Number 14: I'm not really a big Arashi fan, this is one the second song I've heard by them. But since Jun Matsumoto is hot I think I listen to them more. This song is so sweet. Leave it to a Johnny's group makes me swoon over their song. Number 13: I really love the overall sound of this song. And it's apparently about summer. But I love all An Cafe's songs. Number 12: It was really hard to choose the overall best Perfume song of 2008, Love The World came so close to winning. But this song is just awesome. I'm a big Perfume fan mostly because I'm a big techno fan. I am also very captivated by Perfume's cute voices. Number 11: This is actually one of my favorite Buono songs. I think everything about this song is just amazing. But the music is really a huge factor. And of course the always cute Buono lyrics.

10. Mika Nakashima-I Don't Know
9. Berryz Koubou-Madayade
8. KAT-TUN - Lips
7. Morning Musume-Resonant Blue
6. Ai Otsuka-Rocket Sneaker

Number 10: I really love how this song is a dis to the Japanese media. The lyrics are really powerful. Her English isn't that great, but you have to commend her singing entirely in English. But I kinda hate the hair she's sporting in the video. Number 9: What can I say, I can't get enough of Madayade. It's probably my absolute favorite Berryz song. Everything is just perfect in this song. The beat and the music is amazing. And everyone's voice sounds incredible. Plus the uber catchy chorus, just awesome. Number 8: I always thought KAT-TUN was kinda terrible, but this song has certainty changed my mind. I think Kame and Jin looking hot in the video is a big reason I like the song so much. But I really love the rock music, which you never really hear in Johnny's songs. The lyrics are pretty awesome. "Those red-drenched lips, I want to get closer to you and destroy them, violently." That's pretty epic. However I doubt I'll become a KAT-TUN fan. Number 7: Even though I wasn't a big fan of this song at first, I have really grown to love it. Even though you only really hear Ai and Reina, they are the strength of Momusu and make this sound really good. And I think the lyrics are really good. Number 6: Ai Otsuka really is "The New Guru of Love." She delivers another really sweet love song. But I'm not exactly sure what an Earth number is. I really love Ai's voice though. It's so adorable and yet also beautiful.

5. Kanjani8-Musekinin Hero
4. Utada Hikaru- Prisoner of Love
3. NEWS-WEEEK
2. YUI- Summer Song
1. Namie Amuro-New Look

Number 5: I usually find Kanjani8, for the most part, really annoying. But this so is so crazy, it's great. I can't stop listening to it! And Ryo being in it helps too. Jajajaja~n. Also why was a song about the economy so popular? Number 4: I blame the drama Last Friends for making me like this song as much as I do. But Utada Hikaru has an amazing voice and she sounds just incredible in this song. I'm just a prisoner of love to this song. Oh that was a terrible joke. XD Number 3: I love this song so much. The positive message and the overall happiness of this song is just infectious. I can't help but love it. And everyone in NEWS are great singers. Number 2: This song is so amazing. I love how she sounds during the chorus it's so awesome. And I love the nostalgic-ness of the lyrics. This is just a pretty and upbeat song about summer love. This song really just makes me happy every time I listen to it. And also kind of sad because it makes me think about how quickly my youth will be gone. Number 1: Namie made a truly amazing song. I've listen to this song at least 60 times since it first heard it. I'm in love with 60's and mod fashion, so on that alone the song is awesome. But I just love the girly lyrics. How it's all about hair and fashion.

There you have it my favorite songs of 2008. I'd really like to hear what everyone else thinks the best song of 2008 is.

Everyone's Egg!

Shugo Chara Egg's debut single Minna no Tamago is being released December 10, or today. And the PV has been out for a few days now. I'm late on reviewing again. But at least it's not by that much.

The video is extremely colorful. Lots of floating colofulness. I love how this Shugo Chara group is actually focusing on the anime. With the matching costumes and clips of the anime. But the dance is way too simple. I though Buono had the simplest dances in H!P but this tops it. Yeah the dance is cute, but it's just too simple for my taste. All the seem to be doing is walking.
Even though there is a lot going on in the video, it almost seems like it's too much. And I really don't care for the video.

Even though this a H!P Egg group I expected this song to be a little more mature because of Buono's songs. Buono's songs are childish but still kinda mature. For what the song is it's good, people who expected more of this song should remember it's just for Shugo Chara. But I like the song. It's cutesy and is catchy. I've been listening to it on a loop. Though I've already heard this song a lot because of the fan recording that was out a few months ago. And everyone's voice is incredibly cutesy, except for Saho Akari. Her voice is the most mature of the bunch. Wada Ayaka's voice is a mix of cute and mature. This song really does seem to be a continuation of Kokoro no Tamago. It was even written by the same person. But instead of hop, step, jump, it's pyon pyon fumu fumu. And other lyrics of the song are very similar. The lovely people at projecthello.com translated the lyrics if you want to see for yourself.

Surprisingly this song reached 5th on the oricon. Which means we'll probably be seeing a lot more of the Shugo Chara Eggs. And maybe if they become popular enough they will be able to branch away from Shugo Chara like Buono did. And I also expected by the time the single came out they would have some sort of official name. As for now they are just Shugo Chara Egg which seems silly to me.

I was always overly excited for this group because Maeda Yuki was in it. I feel in love with her voice in High King. But Kanon is defiantly my favorite. I even think her voice is the cutest in this whole song. It must be because she looks a little bit like Aibon. I think I'm already Kanon
biased.

Farewell ugly hair

I found the best Miyavi news in a long time. Miyavi has finally changed his hair! About a week ago I happened to come across PSC and Miyavi's 2009 calendars. His hair is on the normal side now. It's a mix of his oresama hair and his kekkonshiki no uta hair. And as a huge Miyavi fan I am pretty much rejoicing. So let's take a trip down Miyavi's ugly hair memory lane.

Kimi ni Negai wo:

Miyavi's hair in this PV isn't bad at all. But it's the beginning of the end. This is just the last time his hair actually looked decent in a video. I love this video, MYV looks gorgeous with his blue contacts. The song as a whole is really sweet also.

Selfish Love:

And the ugly hair begins. My first reactions to this is, "what's going on?" He shaved both sides and put the rest in some sort of ugly pony tail up-do. The overdose of pink in the promo photos didn't help either. I didn't like that he was starting to look more girly. And to this day I have yet to watch the PV because I can't get passed his hair. I guess that makes me a bad fan. But I really like the song. "Love me because I love you" I can relate to that. ._.

Sakihokoru Hana no you ni -Neo Visualizm-:

The beginning of Neo Visualizm. My face dropped to the floor when I saw this video. It was curly and it had fake hair pieces in it. It was also pinned and put in a stupid hat. I was a little hesitant to listen to this. His style went way over the top and it was a different type of music then he usually did. And his black outfit with the gloves turned me off the video completely. And for a while I wouldn't even watch the video.

Subarashiki kana, kono sekai -WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD-:

Now by this video I pretty much accepted and tolerated his new style of clothes and music. This hair and outfit is much better then in the Neo Visulaizm video. I actually liked his clothes in this one. And I started to think he looked good like this. I got passed the video and actually really love this song.

Hi no hikari sae todokanai kono basho de:

His hair in this video annoyed me so much. He had more hair pieces and it was braided. And the hair looked dry and dead. It was just terrible as a whole. But his clothes were more toned down and almost normal looking. This song was my favorite out of all of them. It had less "hip-hop" influences.

Now this post as a whole must sound very shallow and fangirl-ish, but looks would never stop me from listening to his music. I gradually got passed his ugly hair, once I realized his lyrics didn't change, just his style of music. And I reluctantly accepted his change because Miyavi never keeps the same hair for that long.

His new hair is ok looking. I hope he doesn't keep the stupid multi color hair extensions. But his hair might not even last like this for long. I guess I'll have to wait for his next single.

Iida Kaori's son passes away

Former first gen member of Morning Musume, Iida Kaori's son has passed away at just 6 months old. Though the information was released yesterday, he died on July 27, 2008 due to renal failure.

This is a truly tough time in Iida's life. She is a very strong woman to be able to have this information revealed to the masses. My deepest condolences go out to her. I do hope she tries to have another child again because I am sure she would make a great mom. She said she is going to remain positive for her son and is going to return working. I wish her the best in life.

On Hello-online.org you can read translated blog entries of Yaguchi Mari, Nakazawa Yuko, and others for their statments on such a tragic event.

NEWS-Color review

NEWS's 3rd full length album Color was released on November 19th. So here's my review of the CD. This is my first CD review so I hope it's good. >_< color="#006600">

Track 1: Weeek
I'm sure just about every NEWS /Jpop fan has heard this song before, since it was the first single of the album. This is actually the first song I heard by NEWS so it remains one of my favorite songs by them. Aside from that, this song is very upbeat and happy. The lyrics don't really go deeper than surviving each day. But the song is really catchy and really fun. And it was number one on the Oricon for 3 weeks or so.

Final rating: 8/10

Track 2: Stardust
At first listen this song doesn't immediately blow me away. The song is a little generic and forgettable. But the lyrics are pretty, but no one's voice really stands out. The singing seems bland and boring. Only in the upbeat chorus does it sound like they really tried. This song is good but you shouldn't go out of your way to listen to it. This song lies somewhere in the middle.

Final rating: 6/10

Track 3: Summertime
NEWS's 2nd single from on this album. I was defiantly in love with this when this single came out. Mostly because it put me in that fun loving summer mood. But now that it's no longer summer the song kinda lost the spark that made it appealing. I'm sure I'll listen to it nonstop in the summer, but the rest of the year not so much. And the lyrics are cute. Who doesn't want a summer love? And the KoyaShige rap is the best part.

Final rating: 7/10

Track 4: Snow Express
I have been waiting for what seems like forever for this to have an official release. Snow Express is defiantly a fan favorite song, and unlike Summertime the song is listen able in all seasons. Because the song is just that good. And Tegoshi's and Yamapi's voices are heart melting in this song.

Final rating: 9/10

Track 5: Forever
This song is very soft and sweet. I can see fangirls going crazy over this song in concert. It's so cute, wanting to be with someone forever. Because a future without them has no meaning at all. I always fall for New's love songs cause they are usually so sweet. Also a good chunk of this song is in English. And no surprise TegoMass's English is the best. It looks like the English version of Miso Soup paid off. As for Yamapi let's just say he's needs to brush up on his English skills.

Final rating: 9/10

Track 6: MOLA
Yamapi's solo song! *faints and dies* This song is sung ENTIRELY in English and all I can say is wow. The lyrics are a bit much. Here are some of the lyrics. "Taste me like you used to I'm ready now" "We're gettin' deeper & deeper I'm outta control" "I'll make you wanna shout just like oh ooo oh ooo" The also used some techno effect over his voice so you can hear how bad his English is. Much like how Kyo, from Dir en grey, would scream every song or line that was in English. And I laughed a bit when Yamapi said shorty and booty. XD

Fangirl Rating: 10/10

Track 7: Kesenai
Tegoshi solo song? Or Tegoshi featuring Ryo and Shige. I can't really tell if this song is truly a solo song with Ryo and Shige randomly stuck in for backup/harmonies. Or it's legitimately supposed to be all 3 of their song but Tegoshi just gets to sing practically the whole song. Like it was in Ai Nante. Either way this song is boring and far too slow for my taste. I can't stand ballads for the most part. Tegoshi always picks terrible solo songs, if this is even a solo song. XD Even the lyrics are boring. And it's kinda creepy to keep someone's message on your answering machine.

Final rating: 4/10

Track 8:Ordinary
Ryo solo song! Words can't describe how much I love Ryo. >_< His voice sounds great in this song. But I'm afraid this song is a bit ordinary. I love the background music to it, it's very danceable. But the song it's self falls a little flat. Though the lyrics are so sweet. The lyrics vaguely remind me of Alice Nine's White Prayer. "Adding color to this boring today" reminds me of "That the world which was dyed grey isn't real" that's kind of similar. Just a little bit. But because it's Ryo he gets extra point. :]
Final rating: 8/10 if someone else sang it 5/10

Track 9:Minna ga Iru Sekai wo Hitotsu Ai wo Motto Give & Take Shimashou
This is the upbeat kinda NEWS song I love. The background music makes it sound like it could be the opening theme to an anime. And at first listen the vocal effects to the chorus surprised me a little, coming off as weird. And Keii's vocals sounds weird as a whole in this song. I really love how Massu sounds in it. And the first time in a NEWS song Yamapi's vocals in this song are completely over looked as being the best. The lyrics are mediocre but I still love this song.

Final rating: 8/10

Track 10:Mura Risuto
Another KoyaShige song! I love how their songs are always perverted. First it was looking up a skirt and now it's looking down a shirt. This song is so perverted and hilarious. And in some odd way I love it! Just like I couldn't stop listening to Chirarizumu when I first heard it. Haha. But I wonder what could be the follow up to this song?

Final rating: 9/10

Track 11:Taiyou no Namida
NEWS 's 3rd single on this album. I always really liked this song because it was slow but still upbeat. And the lyrics were meaningful and trying to be deep. Overall there's not much else to say about this song. The vocals are good and the songs good. But of course it was, it was a single after all.

Final rating: 7/10

Track 12:Smile Maker
I always love when Yamapi raps because he sounds cute and is the best member at rapping. I'm not sure if I like that the whole song is like rap singing. But I am also pleasantly surprised at how ever one else's rapping sounds. Because at their Tokyo Dome concert some of them sounded terrible rapping. As for this song Shige actually sounds the best. I think the song is very inspiring. Keep a smile on your face in tough times.

Final rating: 7/10

Track 13:Happy Birthday
NEWS 's 4th and most recent single off this album. I've been addicted to this song since it came out. I just love the way the song is sung. And the chorus is amazing. The lyrics are very cute. I love how in News song they sing it as if they are singing just to you. And it feels that way in this song. And Ryo starts and ends the song that alone is awesome enough.

Final rating: 8/10

Track 14:Fly Again The final track on the regular edition album. This song is too boring again. Shouldn't they have tried to go out with a bang? This time it has nothing to do with the fact that it's kinda slow. The music just sounds flat. And the singing is mediocre. But the lyrics of this song are inspiring too. But this song just doesn't do anything for more. This song too is forgettable.

Final rating: 5/10

Track 15: The final track on the limited edition album. How bittersweet. And yet this song is slow too. I don't understand ending an album with a slow song. Ballads don't keep my attention for long. And aside from the chorus I honesty only half paid attention to it. This song is sugary sweet though. Just as expected. "A love of eternal colors" It's cute I guess.

Final rating: 6/10

I guess I didn't expect writing an album review would take so long. All in all, I think this a defiant buy if your a NEWS fan. Even if you're not a NEWS fan I'm sure you'd enjoy this album too. I don't think the bonus song along is good enough to really make you want the limited edition. But I'm sure the 32 page book is.

Forever Love my darling!

So another one of my posts has been delayed slightly. But hey I've been busy and all that jazz.

C-ute's 7th single Forever Love was released on November, 26. I am really excited about this single. Since Edo no Temari no Uta II was kind of a let down. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a full blown dud but it wasn't my favorite C-ute single either. Forever Love has an amazing beat and music, it feels like something fresh for C-ute. The song as a whole is really great, and the my darling parts are just adorable. Vocally almost everyone is on par, except Saki. Her voice just seems a little out of place in this song. As for Airi's parts, her voice is almost too high for this song. There's no question that she's a talented singer but in my opinion her voice sounds a little awkward in this one. I hope people understand what I'm trying to say. I'd rather not get lynched by Airi fans. XD And surprisingly Erika, Mai, and Kanna's voices jump out the most in this song. Their voices are really suited for a song like this and they sound perfect in it. The biggest problem I have with this song is choosing what's better, Forever Love or Madayade. Which is an extremely hard decision, but I think I'm leaning more towards Madayade.

As far as the video goes the suits and office work makes it seem like a Madayade part 2. If there was ever a good time to share b-sides, now would have been the perfect time. But it's clear that the real theme of this PV is hideous outfits! I mean seriously golfer's plaid, houndstooth, bulky scarves, and what looks a hunter's jacket. Saki also seems to be wearing either purple corduroy or crushed purple velvet. Wow I really know my fabric. o_O Anyway, these patterns are barely nice on their own let alone thrown in together. But there is a bright side Erika and Maimi's outfits are super cute. But Erika wins for overall best outfit. I'm a sucker for vests. :D Aside from their clothes their really isn't much else going on. Throughout the whole video office version C-ute is watching dancing version on a computer screen. I feel kinda weird watching a computer screen on my computer. I wonder is anyone else thought of it that way?

Another highlight of this video is, that my girl Kanna looks absolutely adorable. I love her new curly hairstyle in the video. It looks amazing on her. She looked the best in the close ups in my opinion. Though I always pay more attention to her.

Cafe Buono pizza

Buono was featured in two 15 second commercials for Pizz-la delivery pizza. Which according to the Pizza-la website is the no.1 delivery pizza. I absolutely love the outfits they are wearing. And everyone looks super cute, especially Airi. The little dance in the middle is very cute too, as expected from Buono. But I can't seem to get past the announcer's creepy voice.

But Buono endorsing it doesn't make me want this pizza. It actually looks really gross. Somehow Hot Hokkiado Potato Gratin Pizza just doesn't sound too appetizing. There's also pieces of corn in it. Just eww. This actually makes me happy that I don't live in Japan. There's a lot of weird Japanese pizza out there. From clams to shrimp and mayonnaise.

Shugo Chara

With almost no news about the new Shugo Chara group in two months, we finally have the PV preview. I honestly forgot all about the group until about two days ago. I also forgot how adorable Minna no Tamago is. The PV is as infectious as the song. With lots of flying hearts, diamonds, clovers, and spades oh my. It's very colorful and very cutesy. I kinda would like to see more colors then green, blue, yellow, and pink over and over. But there's no helping that. If any of my preview posts mean anything the PV should be ok in a week or two if not a few days. ._.

Who's a C-uter boyfriend?

With C-ute's single covers and promo shots for Forever Love being released a question has dawned on me. Which one makes a hotter guy? This is why H!P members shouldn't wear suits. I'm going to put favorite members aside and judge it on the pictures alone.

Okai Chisato- Now Chisato has some Johnny's hair going on. It's very Jin Akanishi. That alone would make her the guy everyone wants and also unattainable. A guy like that would never bee seen with someone like me.

Final rating: out of my league

Suzuki Airi- Airi looks like a guy I would be friends with. We would probably flirt back and forth but that's it. It would be hard to tell his true feelings for me since he flirts with all the girls.

Final rating: one sided crush

Arihara Kanna- Kanna's snazzy new short haircut gives her the soft, sensitive guy vibe. Some one who would be reading poetry after class. He would be a loner with an air of mystery.

Final rating: doesn't have time for girls

Hagiwara Mai- Mai's picture doesn't look any different unfortunately and doesn't really work fit this. But I will try anyway. Mai would be the overly nice guy always wanting to help out his friends. He would be too good to be true.

Final rating: just friends

Nakajima Saki- Saki would be the tough guy always getting into fights. Coming from a troubled home he gives everyone attitude. Both his physical and emotional wounds won't heal.

Final rating: damaged goods

Yajima Maimi- Maimi is the guy who thinks he's too good to date just anyone. His over confidence and arrogance will push the girls away.

Final rating: jerk

Umeda Erika: Erika is the guy you wouldn't want to be seen with, the one who's not all there. His psycho smile will almost follow you down the hallway.

Final rating: weirdo

Now that, that ridiculousness is over here is some actual cute news. Some guy posted a 20 second preview for the Forever Love PV from his cell phone. So if you squint your eyes and stand five feet away you can almost see what the other outfits look like. But it shoud hold you over until the actual PV comes out. The first thing that jumps out for me is Airi's hideous jacket shawl combo. Let's hope it looks better in a higher quality.

Hangry and Angry come stateside?

The highly anticipated Hangry & Angry PV is out. And I couldn't be more excited for it! The song is just amazing. I can't stop listening to it. It really is one of the best things to comes out of H!P in a long time. I think it's UFA rather. The single will be released in Japan and the US on November 19th.

The PV is very anime like to me. It feels like it should be Hangry & Angry starring Yoshizawa Hitomi and Ishikawa Rika. But that's really my only complaint for it. I love that Yossie is being really evil and rockerish. It's a side of her I really like. Weird faces and all. And Rika acting sweetly, they really balance each other out. They couldn't have picked two better members.

Also the second outfits are awesome. Especially Rika's white dress. It's so pretty and it's finally an actual lolita dress. In this video it looks like they are picking up were come together left off. They come close to kissing and Rika basically feels up Yossie. Wotas are rejoicing now.

In more important Hangry & Angry news, according to their myspace they are planning a tour in the US and Europe. And on their offical Japanese myspace you can listen to a preview of two of their songs off the CD.

Forever Love preview

A preview for C-ute's new single Forever Love came out a few days ago. And judging from the name, weeks a go I assumed it would be a ballade or at least a slow paced song like Namida no Iro. But instead it's a upbeat almost dance song. And it's not 2 minutes and some odds seconds long. It's almost 4 minutes. But I'll have my full review of the song when the PV comes out like always. :3

Madayade

I've been a little m.i.a. from blogging the past days. Mostly because of Halloween and Election stuff. So you know what the means, mass updates spam! Starting with the Madayade pv that I neglected to review.

I can honestly say I wasn't expecting the PV to look anything like it does. I'm not completely sure what working in an office has to do with anything. And I also can't believe those really were the outfits. They kind of look like a cross between a flight attendant and a super hero. Which is fine if that's what your into. But I'm not a big fan of them. The PV is a slight disappointment. But I shouldn't really be too upset. I'm sure a beach themed Berryz video wasn't even a possibility.

I am still completely in love with the song. And it turns out it was Maasa that sounds like Airi a little. This song is pushing Miyabi in the back even further. She still gets a decent ammount of lines, but it's not the Miyabi overload it usually is. Instead the song and video is focusing more on the girls who are usually in the back. Saki, Yurina, Maasa, and Chinami. Which I'm not really complaining about, since I've been becoming a big fan of Yurina lately. She's the main reason I've been paying attention to Berryz more lately.

Berryz Koubou keeps having one good song after another. Now if we could only do something for Morning Musume. Because compaired to this and Buono's song, Pepper Keibu just doesn't cut it.

Lotta Lotta Buono

I've been waiting impatiently for Buono's PV release and it's finally here! I don't know if I'm jumping for joy at this particular video. But Buono can do no wrong in my eyes. They defiantly delivered another hit. I think all of their songs are good but this is my least favorite single by them. The song is just as you'd expect from them happy and upbeat. With their first concert coming up I think we can expect Buono to be around for at least another year or more.

Surprisingly Airi and Miyabi stand out the most and Momoko kinda fades into the background to me. Airi looks adorable, she reminds me of Minnie Mouse. Miyavi looks gorgeous in this video. I am a very big fan of the curls she's sporting. But Momoko pretty much looks they same. They stuck a headband in her hair and called it a day. They should at least attempt to change her hairstyle up, like they did in the Honto no Jibun PV. I think the 70's TV show theme explains the Minnie Mouse poka dot dresses. That I wasn't a big fan of at first, but they are defiantly cute. The dances portion of the video kinda falls flat a little bit. But the close up scenes are amazing. Everyone looks so pretty in them. Especially Airi she dominates the cuteness of this video. The dance is pretty simple. It seems like Buono's dances have a pattern. They have a good dance then a stupid one.

So overall I think they song could be a little better but it's still an awesome song. And I'm in love with the video.
