Eri, JunJun, and LinLin share a tearful goodbye
Morning Musume members Kamei Eri, JunJun, and LinLin officially graduated from Morning Musume yesterday. And right now I'm in the surreal state. Where I feel completely sad, but am also in a state of disbelief. It is incredibly hard to lose my favorite Morning Musume member yet again.(LinLin) It also hurts to lose my 3rd favorite Morning Musume member. (Kamei Eri) I actually also feel really empty. I am completely not ready to let these girls go. What am I going to do without JunJun professing her love of bananas? Or Eri naively saying she leaves everything up to her Mom? Or LinLin being absolutely hilarious and just overall bacchiri?
Even though this is what Morning Musume does and always will do, it doesn't make graduations less hard. Right now I am literally fighting back the tears just writing this post.
Kamei Eri's solo song was Haru Beautiful Everyday, which wasn't what I was expecting. I thought she was going to sing Namida ga Tomaranai Houkago. But she always did sound great in Haru Beautiful Everyday, so I'm happy with her choice.
LinLin's solo was Watarasebashi. I think it might be the first ever non Morning Musume graduation song. Of course I am completely thrilled by her choice. Since she killed it in Chinese on Bijou Hodan.
JunJun's solo song was Furusato. I'm actually not sure why she picked this song.
Since the graduation concert was broadcast on TV, some of the performances were posted on youtube. Not the entire concert, but I'm glad that people uploaded what they did.
Hand Made City:
This has always been one of my favorite B-sides, and I always love watching it during concerts. It's sad to think that from now on Reina will most likely be singing Eri's lines. I also don't really mind that LinLin kinda messed up in singing her solo line.

Soon enough the 9th generation will swoop in and help ease the pain. But the 9th gen better understand that they have extremely large shoes to fill.

Morning Musume's Nanchatte Renai cover preview
With over a month until Momusu's 40th single Nanchatte Renai's release date, we already have a taste of what the new single will be like. In the form of small picture of the cover.I'm really liking what I see so far. The girls are looking cute and happy, instead of somber. Which makes me think that we're getting a break from their last two slow singles. And I'm definitely looking forward to. But you can't really judge the song style too much on the covers. Shouganai Yume Oibito's cover are vibrant and happy, yet the song is slow.
Morning Musume is also dressed pretty hot. They're wearing amazing black dresses that look like a mix between Osaka Koi no Uta mixed and Shining Itoshiki Anata.
I expect a lot from this single. Even though Shouganai Yume Oibito was massively popular, I found it boring. I want this new single to have a pizzazz the last 3 singles were lacking. I'm also hoping to see LinLin up front in this single.
Since LinLin is part of the new Mini Moni group and has a solo song on Chanpuru 1~Happy Marriage Song Cover Shuu~, I think it's finally going to be time for her to be featured more in Morning Musume. Maybe she'll actually get a solo line in the new single. She's already proved that she's an amazing singer. She's also already proved she has a lot of personality. LinLin is going to be getting a lot more popularity from Mini Moni, so why not promote her more now. Besides they are going to need some one to take Reina's place when Ai and Risa graduate, and Reina becomes the new leader. They haven't really been shoving anyone else up front lately. Sayumi doesn't have the vocal ability, and Eri will already be up front either because she's the new sub leader or because of seniority.
I kind of went off on a future of Momusu tangent there. So I'll stop before I get into the rest of the members.

Ganbatte Lin Lin!
A few days ago I got the chance to watch Morning Musume's Spring 2008 concert Single Daizenshuu. I had to wait until it was put on a veoh as I don't have the means to buy a legal copy. XD I was surprised when Onna Ni Sachi Are was preformed. Lin Lin sounded a lot better. I was a little skeptical at first when Jun Jun and Lin Lin joined the group not so much because they were Chinese and Momusu might be compromising themselves just to branch out farther into Asia. Mostly because they didn't really sound up to par in Morning Musume. Jun Jun was always ok but Lin Lin in my opinion was terrible. When I first heard Onna Ni Sachi Are I had to rewind to her one solo line cause I didn't believe that's what her voice really sounded like. And let's be honest Jun Jun kind of out sang Lin Lin in song Suki Na Senpai preformed at the 2007 fall concert Bon Kyu! Bon Kyu! Bomb. And sorry to all Lin Lin fans I may have just ofended that was my honest opinion, but I have nothing else but good things to say about her now. You can really tell in Hyokkori Hyoutan-Jima how much she really has improved. And, it's hard to tell just how long she has been noticeably better. Since she had 0 solo lines in Mikan and the "ranchi mo michi mo" line (from RB's b-side) isn't really good for judging singing ability.
She also didn't even sing in Resonant Blue. Because I don't count fu, wow, and ah as singing since they are usually lip synced during lives. Or maybe that's just Koharu? O_O Anyway, Lin Lin has shown huge improvements which shows what can happen with a little time to grow. Just look at Risa. :D Though it can be argued "some members" never improved, but that's another topic all together.
Since I really love doing reviews I have to review the spring concert. I'll start off by saying in the opening act my eyes were glued to Mittsi, and not in a good way. I noticed throughout the song she didn't smile once and it looked like she didn't even want to be there. But her expression changed entirely as soon as the next song played and she actually had a chance to sing. You can tell from Aika and Sayumi that the members, not just the fans, are angry about the unfair line distribution in Resonant Blue. I also didn't like that Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari was stuck into a medley. That was the song I was most excited for when I heard they were doing an every single concert. I really wanted to hear 8th gen verses instead of another Ai-chan one. I was very impressed with the solos though, especially Sayumi's, she really has come a long way. The holded mother note was amazing! Ai's Do It! Now was my second favorite. Even though I would have like to seen a trio do it or at least Risa also, it was still good. She kinda looked like a pimp with the hat and jacket combo. Haha. I think Ai Araba It's Allright is one of my favorite performances from this because it's one of my favorite MM single and everyone had a solo line in it. And it sounded almost as good as the original. I must admit I am starting to get sick of Love Machine as it is sung frequently in H!P concerts. But it was a good version so I can't complain. It was better than the one preformed at Sexy 8 Beat. Aruiteru was unexpectedly good as well. The harmonies were just amazing. Everyone really blends well together. This concert was a lot better than I expected it to be. It was better than Sexy 8 Beat and Rainbow Seven. But that's just my opinion of course. I think it would also be cool to see an every b-side concert, but that's very unlikely. It's more of something I would just like to see.
