My blog now has over 5,000 views. And I really can't believe it! I remember when I though 100 views was a big deal.
When I first made my blog I didn't think anyone would actually take the time to read it. But I guess I'm doing something right. ;]

I've been blogging on here for a little less than a year, and it was more of casual blogging at first. I'd write a few posts each month or whenever I though something was snazzy enough to blog about. But it the past few months, I guess I've been blogging a little more seriously. Posting about news and more reviews, and whatnot. And for that reason more people have been reading by blog, which is awesome.
In the beginning I was kind of all over the place, I even mixed in a few Jrock posts. And I can honestly say my earlier posts were pretty much terrible. But I like to think they've gotten a lot better since then.
I've also somehow managed to get 5 followers. Which isn't really that big of a number, but I think it's amazing I have that. Comments are still a rare occurrence on my blog, but I still freak out about every comment I get one.

This post turned out to almost be a praise post. But it's really more of a thank you post to anyone who reads my blog. You guys are awesome! You should continue to support my blog, and send lot of comments. ;]

Morning Musume arrives in Korea

Morning Musume member Risa, Ai, LinLin, and Reina arrived in Korea today for the taping of DaeDong Kyung Youths, or better know as the Korean Hello!Project/Mnet auditions. The taping of the audition start on April, 27th and the show itself airs sometime in mid-May. ChanSung and JunHo of 2PM are going to be MC's for the Korean auditions. The 2PM members are going to meet with the 4 Morning Musume member on April 27th.

Risa, Ai, Reina, and LinLin look really great at the airport, as expected. But they also look really fashionable. Risa is rocking a Coach back and Reina is rocking a Louis Vuitton bag. Ai's bag is also designer, but I'm not sure which one. LinLin doesn't have a bag, but she makes it up with her adorable top.

C-ute covers Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu

C-ute will be releasing a new single in June. It will be a cover of the 70's pop song Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu.

It seems like H!P is releasing a lot of cover songs lately. Pepper Keibu, Dschinghis Khan, and the entire Cover You album. And I'm a little curious to see what C-ute's cover of the song sounds like. I'm not really a big fan of the original Candies version of the song, it's just a bit too old fashion sounding. but I really did love SweetS version of the song. If C-ute makes their cover a little faster and happier I think the single could turn out to be really great.
Now the really exciting part of C-ute's new single is that is being released in June. Which is the month that Kanna is supposed to return to her C-ute and H!P activities. And I am beyond excited for Kanna to come back. It really seems like H!P's goal to have Kanna participate in C-ute's next single. I really missed 7 nin C-ute. I can't wait to see her back in fighting form.

There's no actual preview of the song, but here's SweetS's cover so you can get an overall feel of the song.

Morning Musume - Shouganai Yume Oibito preview

A preview for Morning Musume's upcoming, 39th single, Shouganai Yume Oibito, was released today.

It looks like the new song is a ballad. Which I'm not really that thrilled about. It seems Morning Musume is doing slow songs lately since their last single, Naichau Kamo, was slow as well. Maybe Tsunku is aiming for another song like Aruiteru. Since that was Morning Musume's last number one single. It's the only logical reason that Momusu has had two slow songs in a row.

I'm also really upset by the line distribution. This will be the 4th single in a row where they acted like 7th and 8th gen don't exist. You have to really listen closely to hear the other members. And even than I can only hear Aika and JunJun because they took the higher melody on a couple lines. I'm glad they finally gave attention to Sayumi, but not if that means 7th and 8th gen has to suffer.

I'm also not really impressed by the song either. It wasn't love at first listen. It's just not catchy and I don't even like the overall music. I think this is the first time I'm actually disappointed by a Morning Musume song. I'm not so sure if I can grow to like this.

So here's the short preview of the song from Reina's radio show. A LQ video of the PV was floating around youtube yesterday, but I didn't get so see it in time. Youtube has been taking the LQ videos down every chance they get.

Spy things up with Buono!

Buono's 7th single, My Boy, is being released April, 29th. And as expected the PV was released today.

I've been pretty excited for this video to come out since the commercial was released a few days ago. The PV is different then the PVs we're used to seeing from Buono. It has a set storyline, where as the others were essentially dancing and close up shots. The overall theme of the video is Buono as secret agents sent out to steal something. So there's a lot of James Bond like scenes going on throughout the entire video. Which they must of spent too much time filming. That the only way to explain the less than impressive dance. The dance is really painfully simple. Some parts are a little reminiscent of the Honto no Jibun dance and the rest just reminds me of aerobics. The hands down best part of the PV is Buono's overall styling and outfits. Which makes for absolutely gorgeous close ups. But I'm really not a fan of Momoko's and Miyabi's hair styles. Momoko has a weird bun thing going on, that does nothing for her. And Miyabi's new shorter hair is a little disappointing.

Overall I think the PV is cute. It's not the worst PV by Buono, but it's not the best either
.

Buono's heart. My first thought was this was a box of
chocolates.

Heart box is serious business

The dance floor looks a lot like V-U-DEN's. This also
looks like Pepper Keibu's chandelier

For future references Momoko fits perfectly in a trunk.

Airi spying it up

This hairstyle makes Miyabi's face long extra long and
awkward

Epic Momoko reaction #1. That's the best face ever!

Ok, Miyabi looks good here

I think I miss the Bye Bye Bye dance moves

Once again Airi's cuteness solves everything

Yet another awkward dance move

When your run out of ideas just throw your arms randomly
up in the air

That's hot

Pop that chest Airi

I could seriously come up with better dance moves

Airi's legs make me laugh

Only Airi could make stealing look adorable

Very sly Momo

This lighting makes Miyabi look gorgeous

Epic Momoko reaction #2. Who knew armor could be that
frightening

Momoko's cute smile

Wait why does Airi only have one earring?

Epic Momoko reaction #3. How adorable

Secret Momoko wota

Secret Miyabi wota

LOLZ

Secret Airi wota

Honto no Jibun anyone?

Lighting working in Momoko's favor

This reminds me of C/C

Epic Momoko reaction #4. Not really a reaction but cute
none the less

Everyone's epic reaction

Seems like a lot of work for a cake

Epic Momoko reaction #5. She looks way to happy to be the
one cutting the cake

Buono - My Boy short PV preview

Buono released a short 30 second commercial for their up and coming new single, My Boy. And so far I like what I see.

There's a whole secret agent/secret mission theme going on in the PV. Which is just truly awesome. There's also a few really gorgeous close ups of the girls in the preview. Airi looks especially great. I'm all really surprised by how pretty the outfits are. I thought the outfits were cute since the covers were out, but they are way prettier than I thought they would be. They're really colorful and have a nice mixture of rock and cute. You also see a really small part of the dance in the preview. And what I can see of the dance looks really simple and at the same time a little sexy. I do hope there is more going on to the dance then what was shown. I'd hate to see another Bye Bye Bye dance let down.

Kago Ai to release debut single

Former Hello!Project member Kago Ai is getting back into the singing business once again. She's releasing her debut single, No Hesitation, on June 24th. This will be her first music release in over 2 years.

Some one please tell my I'm not dreaming. That this is really happening. Aibon is really making music again. I know she's been mentioning singing and making music on her blog for a while now. But for some reason I didn't really expect it to be happening. But it's really happening and I'm freaking out. This is like the best news ever! Kago is finally singing again. It's been years since she's released any music. The lyrics were also written by Aibon herself, which is really impressive. The song itself seems a little bland but Kago's singing makes over that 4 times over. I'm really excited to her the rest of the song in high quality and maybe even a PV. I'm just super happy to see her singing again.

Here's a short sample of her song, since there's no official preview out.

Hangry & Angry - Sadistic Dance preview

To commemorate their first performance in the US, Hangry & Angry are releasing a brand new single entitled Sadistic Dance. This single is however just a digital single. Japanfiles has released a preview of the song.

At first listen I didn't really think I'd like this song because the music and singing started off really soft. And it's completely different than their last single, Kiss Me Kill Me. But the music picks up really quickly. I love the overall sound of the music, it's sweet and still rock like. And the guitar solo towards the end of the song is juts awesome. Singing wise, it's really great. Yossie and Rika blend great together. And they sound really cute while they are saying Sadistic Dance. The song ends up being really great, but it's not a song I'd have to have. It's really catchy though.

Arashi - Crazy Moon preview

Arashi's new single, Crazy Moon, will be released on May 27th. So with over a month until the release the preview has already come out. Now I'm not really an Arashi fan at all, but I thought I should post Arashi news anyway. Especially since I completely forgot to write about Believe.

From what I hear of the single, I'm not really impressed. It's sounds a lot like Arashi's previous singles. And the music is really bland and boring. Believe was much better than this song. At least Believe was a little faster paced and had better music. I just find this song really boring. I listened to it 3 times I can't even really remember more than the chorus and overall beat.
