Onaji Jikyuu de Hataraku Tomodachi no Bijin Mama previews

S/mileage will be releasing their 3rd single, Onaji Jikyuu de Hataraku Tomodachi no Bijin Mama, September 29th. While I was away from blogging they went on TV and did a short preview of the PV. And just yesterday the full radio rip of the song was released. So, I thought I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone and make a blog post about both.

Let's start with the song first. It's becoming pretty obvious that S/mileage is H!P's current it group. Whenever H!P has an it group they usually get the better songs, PVs, and promotions. Morning Musume was the it group for the longest time. They it moved to Buono, and then Berryz Koubou. Or so it would seem it did because nothing else explains why Buono was always amazing, and Berryz turned from average to incredible. I say S/mileage must be the current it groups because they have yet to release a bland single. Even though ○○ Ganbaranakutemo Eenende and aMa no Jaku are my least favorite S/mileage singles, they are still pretty awesome songs in their own rights. Onaji Jikyuu de Hataraku Tomodachi no Bijin Mama follows in suit, and is really great. It's probably my favorite S/mileage song music wise. It's just got an overly cute and energetic sound. And it sounds completely youthful without sounding childish, if that even makes sense. It's just got that unique S/mileage sound. I think I'll be completely thrown off guard if they ever do a ballad. XD And for course it's got the completely fair line distribution S/mileage always does. But it sounds like this single is mainly lead by Saki. Which I'm completely fine with because Kanon mainly lead the last 2 singles, so I can't really complain.

Now about the PV sneak peek. I won't say preview because it's not really a preview, it's far too short to be a preview. Firs things first, the dancing outfits. The last single I complained about the outfits looking like tap outfits. And at first glance these outfits look exactly the same. But after 3 singles with nearly duplicate outfits, you begin to see that's the points. It just dawned on me now, because I'm completely dense and never really realized, S/mileage's PV outfits have always been school girl outfits. With the exception of Asu wa Date na no ni, Imasugu Koe ga Kikitai. So it's pretty obvious that's their overall image. And their 3 major single outfits have been nearly identical. Their outfits have always been, and probably always will be, a fluffy skirt with a prep school jacket with a S/mileage crest. Which in all honesty reminds me of Abingdon Boys School.

But less about their clothes and more about the PV itself. Is anyone else way beyond excited that the Bijin Mama in the PV is Tsuji Nozomi? Of course you are! It seems like we haven't seen Nono in 3 years. And really we haven't. Since she withdrew from Gyaruru was the last thing musically she did. Yes I know she preformed on TV, and was in concerts. But I mean PV wise. I'm glad to see Nono doing something other than designing clothes and making babies. XD
I think this is the closest we'll get to Nono staring in her own PV. I don't know, it seems if she was going to sing again she would have by now. Or maybe she's just waiting until her second child is born? I honestly can't say anything for certain.

The PV looks like it will be cute. It's set in a diner, so they could do a lot with that. But it will most likely just be filled with scenes of them feeling defeated by Tsuji. Since the song is about them thinking their crush's mother is their rival. Which sounds pretty weird. I'm pretty interested in reading the lyric translation now.

Koko Natsu PV preview

Momoiro Clover released a PV preview for their new song, Koko Natsu. Their single Pinky Jones, which Koko Natsu is the second song, will be released November 10th.

Now I don't really want to say too much about the PV preview, since I will be reviewing the PV when it comes out. But I gotta say the PV looks pretty adorable. It has more of a backyard pool part theme, than a beach themed. But still tropical and still cute. And did you get a load of Momoka? She's looks adorable!

Bandage movie review

Recently I watched Akanishi Jin's moive Bandage. Well actually now it wasn't as recently as I would have liked it to have been. But personal things have pushed this post back by a lot. Anyway, while I was watching the movie I decided to make a post about the movie. Since I never review movies or dramas, I thought it would be fun to do a movie review. And this review will contain spoilers, not like there is much to spoil anyway.

Let me start this review off by saying the sole purpose I watched this movie was for Jin. Much like a lot of people did. And I guess that really wasn't a very smart thing to do, because I didn't really care for the movie very much. Yes, of course I enjoyed looking at Jin for roughly an hour and a half. (Who wouldn't?) But beyond that the movie was extremely bland. The movie lacked substance, and it didn't really have a story line.

Let's start off with the main thing about the movie that irked me. The whole Natsu and Asako relationship. Oh wait, I can't talk about that because they didn't have one. The trailer said it was a coming of age story, that alluded to a romance. And I'm a sucker for a good romance, especially when the male lead is hot. The movie starts out with Asako going to see LANDS live with a friend. The friend, who I might add, she ditches and sees once every 3 years. XD And Asako starts off being a little bit under Natsu's spell, but that wear off in 5 minutes. So the whole movie is Natsu loving Asako from a far, and Asako keeping him at arms length and being all angsty and selfish. The movie jumps like 8 months in the future and I though, "Oh man, we're finally going to get some Natsu Asako action!" But of course not. Natsu might love her from a far, but you never really see that he has any real interest in her until like the middleish of the movie. Throughout it Natsu just seems to be a little flirty. And it's completely frustrating that this movie is completely not the love story I was hoping for!

Another thing I hated was the lack of a storyline. The movie was the somewhat rise of the band. And that is it! And absolutely nothing else happened! No addiction to drugs, no huge groupie orgy, no alcohol induced car crash, no suicide attempts, and no angsting against fame. What kind of rock star is he? I don't know what the writers of this movie have heard, but this is what real bands are up to. Even Japanese bands from the 90's. Anything like this would have made the movie miles more intense. But instead we got to see the ever interesting recording process, the lyric witting process, getting signed, arranging music, and being a manager. How exciting! The movie pretty much seemed liked a CD making of and behind the scenes footage of the concert. If I wanted to see that I'd watch the tour documentary of NEWS'S Live Diamond again. Which was much more entertaining. It was a very mundane version of being in a band. Granted this is what it's REALLY like to be in a band. But I'm watching a movie here, the last thing I want from a movie is realism. I want fantasy, I want adventure, I want entertainment. In all honesty NANA was a better band movie then Bandage was. And I would recommend watching NANA over Bandage any day. At least exciting things happened in NANA. And if you want a hot guy, Hiraoka Yuta is in NANA. Sure he may not be Jin's level of hottness, but he's still pretty hot.

The last thing I disliked about Bandage was the ending. First off it flashed forward 2 years into the future. In that time Asako hadn't spoken to Natsu. She goes up in the recording area, see's Natsu is recording and starts to cry. Then the credits roll! I hate movies that do that. Where they don't completely end the story. I want to know what happens next. Do they finally become a couple? Does Natsu still hate her? Is Asako done being so whiney? We will never know. And I hate that.

Since this is a movie review I couldn't help but taking a few screencaps of the movie. :D

This part made a lol. No, literally lol. I giggled like an idiot at this part. Mostly because it was unexpected, kinda funny, and I thought the movie would be awesome. Obviously I was wrong. XD And that just seems like something Jin would say in real life.

Engrish it's everywhere. If you can't read it, it say's: No smoke no future, and do a rat. Personally I would have preferred smorke over smoke, but this was still pretty random.

LOLZ! Gotta love the movie foreshadowing KAT-TUN's future.

I hate that this magazine is called Japanese. When it's pretty obvious it's supposed to be Oricon Style. Japanese is stupid. They should have called it magazine over that.

I really hate that the No Names stopped making music. Just when they were so close to reaching number 1 on the Oricom charts.

WTF is up with this dude? He's so emo!

I'd kill to have Jin that close to me. How could anyone ever turn him down?

I might not have enjoyed Bandage, but that doesn't mean you can't. XD For anyone who wants to watch the movie you can watch the stream here. The here is clickable incase that's not clear to some people. XD

Dance de LED

When the preview for Dance de Bakoon came out I fell in love with the song. I just completely thought it was super fun and cute. Like the music C-ute used to make. Because honestly their last 5 singles weren't really all that spectacular. With the exception of Shock of course. And Bye Bye Bye has been growing on my recently.
That being said I had extremely high hopes for the PV. And the PV didn't disappoint me. I actually think it's a decent PV, with some good aspects to it. The dance is really cool, the girls look absolutely incredible, and the PV itself is a colorful explosion. But I don't think it's just not energetic enough. Their energy is at like a 60 or 70. But I want to see it at 100%! The dance is really the only super energetic part of the PV. Some of the close ups fall a little bit flat. Maybe I'm just being too picky about it. Still I think the PV is about a 6/10. Campus life was about a 3. It wasn't even eventful to make a post about. So that tells you something is definitely right about this PV.

Well onto the PV.

When I first saw this is was like, "Oh no. This is going to be a mix of Dakishimete Dakishimete and Onna ge Medatte Naze Ikenai."

Unnecessary boot close up. I don't understand why PVs do pointless close ups of shoes. XD

That had does nothing for Chisa. It actually makes her look rather homesly. o_O

WTF are these abominations disguising themselves as PV oufits?

Ok, the ride em cowboy dance move is a little loltastic.

The worst Airi has ever looked. XD

Waracchaou yo Boyfriend! I just had to. XD

Maimi looks super pretty.

This is how Chisato should always look. Gorgeous!

Maimi's cuteness in this PV is killing me. And lolz at Airi's eyes closed.

Even Mai is looking cute. And she hardly ever stands out to me.

Facepalm!

Woah, some of these close ups are down right scary.

Wait, wait. So it's really Dance de Bacoon?

Cute x2!

I cannot stop looking at Maimi during the PV!

And then Airi steals my heart!

Airi is love!

Reminds me of the Honto no Jibun dance.

Kinda creepy, but still kinda cute. XD

OMG! They did copy off Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai!

10 year olds in Momusu is exactly what they need

Why does everyone in the blogging community and H!P fandom think the Morning Musume 9th gen auditions are making a mistake by looking for 10-17 year olds? A lot of people are saying adult members will look ridiculous around members that are preteens-teens. Newsflash! That's what Morning Musume has always done. When a member gets too old, and starts making the group less youthful, or a member is pretty much a senor citizen compared to other members, she leaves. Plan and simple. Morning Musume is a fresh and youthful idol group. They are NOT a mature or adult themed group. They tried that already. How soon you all forget about V-U-DEN.
If this is your logic, you must also think Nakazawa Yuko, Abe Natsumi, Iida Kari, Yasuda Kei, and Yaguchi Mari should have never left the group. They should have graduated all the young members and just left the old. Then they should have auditioned for new ones to fit around gen 1-2's age range. Do you see how ridiculous that sounds? Do you realize how that would have destroyed the group? People must not because they are boasting the same ridiculous logic. It seriously makes no sense. Morning Musume is flopping lifelessly around and Tsunku is trying to give them much needed oxygen. The reason Tsunku is looking for 10-17 year olds shows that he still has a a few brain cells. It shows that Tsunku is far smarter then you think he is, and he is always right on target. And I'm going to tell you why.

The first reason he opened up the auditions for ages 10-17 is because of the eggs. Hello!Project has a lot of eggs, who are just gathering dust and are having their talent pretty much wasted. But more importantly H!P has a lot of young eggs. H!P right now has 26 eggs. And out of the 26 eggs 20 are eligible to audition for the 9th generation. That is a substantial amount of Eggs. It's almost like he planned this right from the beginning. Because you should also note that he didn't say Eggs could audition for the 9th gen until a few days after the 9th gen announcement. And I mean this factor of the auditions is so perfect and so brilliant, you'd have to be a fool to not see how Tsunku is a genius.
Now let's say for a minute it really was 100% LinLin, JunJun, and Eri's idea to leave Morning Musume. Let's also say they all came to him roughly at the same time to leave. And since they really wanted to leave, Tsunku has no choice but to let them leave. So now Tsunku is panicking because he lost 4 members in 9 months, leaving Morning Musume at a very bad place. He realizes he needs some fresh talent and quickly! Since Morning Musume will be reduced to 5 members Tsunku realizes the new members will HAVE to be prepared to step up and lead singles practically as soon as they join. Much like the 6th gen did. They didn't have to since Morning Musume was huge back then, but they still did none the less. This was said just to give you an example.
Now that being said, Tsunku realizes the odds of finding a random girl with an exceptional voice is pretty slim. And also realizes true talent has to sometimes be nurtured for a few years. Like Risa, KonKon, and Nono. So naturally the only conclusion Tsunku came to was to add Egg members. They've had years (some, not all) to polish their singing and dancing, and some of them are at an amazing skill level. You might think Tsunku has been neglecting the Eggs, but he hasn't really. He's picked the girls only when he felt they were really ready for it. He's added Eggs to both permanent and temporary groups. Such as Arihara Kanna, LinLin, Ongaku Gatas, V-U-DEN, Mano Erina, Milky Way, Shugo Chara Eggs, and even made the complete Egg group S/mileage.

The second reason he's asking for members so young is simple, he's looking for longevity. Ai and Risa have been in Morning Musume for 9 years. Maybe he's looking for new members to be in for a similar amount of time, if not longer. A 10 year old could conceivably be a member of Morning Musume for 14 years. We all know the longer a member is in the group the more popular she is/becomes. Mostly for the sake of familiarity. And watching an idol grow up makes you feel a lot closer to her. Berryz Koubou is such a popular group because they've been around for 6 or 7 years without a change in members. Making all the members decently popular.
And we all also know far too well that female idols have a specific time limit. And when their time runs out they literally spoil. And just like eating milk and bread a few days after the expiration date is perfectly fine, anything more than a few days is pushing it. Hence why the Elder Club graduated in the first place. Let's be honest here, after they started to get really old they lost a lot of their appeal. They started releasing singles less frequently and fell into obscurity. (Matsuura Aya just remains a mystery. But it's most likely because of her mature and boring later half of singles.) Hello!Project saw how they were dragging the company down and cut the ties. Well that's exactly what 5th and 6th gen will do to Morning Musume if they stay for much longer. They will completely drag down and destroy the group.
Remember how Yuko said she felt old when the 4th gen joined? And that she couldn't put up with 12 year olds running around, and that's what made her ultimately graduate? Well that's where Ai-chan is now, or will be soon. Because let's not forget Yuko handed over the reins to Ai. It's only fitting that they will share similar fates.

It also seems like a lot of fans are crying because they realize that longtime members, and favorites, time is running out. And fast! They are coming to the sobering conclusion that Ai-chan can't stay in Morning Musume forever. Ai is one of my least favorite members, and even I want her to stay forever because of her amazing voice. But everyone has to realize she just can't. And I understand that makes people upset, and also momentarily think irrationally.

So there you have it Tsunku is truly a evil genius, wizard, and magician. The way he can see into the future is amazing. They way he can see an awkward girl, or so-so singer, and can see the potential for greatness. The way he can predict what will be best for Momusu in the long run. There's no doubt in my mind that Tsunku is most likely a master chess player. Everyone is one step ahead predicting what Morning Musume will look like 3 months from now, but Tsunku is 3 steps ahead already envisioning what Morning Musume will look like a year from now. Completely incredible if you ask me.

I'm back!~

Everyone can finally get their confetti and applause ready because I am officially back to blogging. That's right, you know I couldn't stay away for that long. This is such an epic moment I feel like this event needs its own theme music. Yeah this will do.

I'm still not entirely sure if I can (or should) be committing 100% to my blog right now. But I am super addicted to blogging. And honestly right now I'd be happy about blogging 50%. It'll give me something to do in my free time to keep me sane. Much like blogging has always done. Well mostly done. I blog mostly for the fun. And also the euphoric rush I get when someone reads/comments/likes my post. XD

You know I haven't been away for that long yet, I have so much to blog about. The world of blogging kind of feels like it's measured in dog years almost. But rather than each year, it feels like each week is seven years. There's a lot of idol news that happens so under the radar, you blink and you miss it. So naturally I have a list of things to blog about. I won't say how many thing exactly, in case I get too lazy and don't do them all. It's not that I won't do them it's just that some of them are opinion pieces, and aren't something I have to rush to blog about. I can honestly blog about them anytime. It's the news and PVs that are a main priority.

So yeah most likely a bit of a post spam, just to play catch up with all the PVs, and news I've missed. Though I might end up doing the PVs over an extended period of time, since they take a while to do. Believe it or not PV reviews usually take me 1-1 1/2 hours to do. But usually a majority of the time is screen capping pictures and uploading them to photobucket and then my blog. The review itself usually takes about 10-15 minutes. XD

Blog Hiatus

I just wanted to take this time to announce to everyone that I will be taking a hiatus from blogging for an undisclosed amount of time. I say undisclosed because it could be a couple of weeks or it could be a couple of months, I don't know right now.
The reason for my hiatus is because my mother has suffered a mild stroke on Monday. And while she is fine I still have no idea when she is getting out of the hospital. First it was just until Wednesday, then it was Thursday, and now she might have to stay for rehabilitation for 3 weeks. And when she does get out of the hospital she will need help with everything. Cooking, cleaning, and even help walking. This is just a completely stressful time for me right now. I am completely not mentally prepared for something like this. I've been so anxious the past few days, I've barely eaten or drank anything.

And one of the things that has helped me be sane this few days, believe it or not, is Morning Musume. You can say that Momusu is just an idol group for 40 year wota, and that they don't make legit music. But when I was waiting for the phone call to see if she was ok or not, I kept repeating Furusato over and over again. Even though it's about moving to Tokyo it's got a few lines that really resonant with me. Like, "scold me like you used to my Mother." And "I'm sorry I'm such a selfish daughter."

Even though I won't be blogging for a while, I will still try to return all of my comments. And when I start blogging again I'm going to have to play catch up to everything I missed. I hope you guys don't mind. Even now there's like 3 blog posts I planned on making that have to be put on hold. So, yeah. I hope you guys will wait for my blog to be back, and won't worry to much about me.

9th generation auditions announced

You know when they say, "careful what you wish for," I completely understand what they mean.
Well it finally happened 9th generation auditions have officially been announced. But at what price. I lost 3 of my favorite Morning Musume members for this to happen. Koharu, Eri, and LinLin. But that's what happens with a swinging door idol group. You recycle old members, and new ones come. It's just an inevitability being in this fandom. One day your favorite is going to leave. Having said that, it doesn't really ease the pain or make it easier to take.

But that's not what this post is about. I already whined enough in my previous post. This post is all about the upcoming 9th generation Morning Musume auditions! Tsunku has announced that Morning Musume will be auditioning for the 9th gen. You can view the official website
here or read about it in his blog here. The girls participating in the audition must be ages 10-17.

Even though I am extremely sad that 3 members are leaving I am still super excited to finally get some new Monring Musume members. This will be my first Morning Musume audition since becoming a fan. I can't wait for it to happen and wait with baited breathe for the new members to be picked.

I am a little disappointed with about the age though. 10-17 seems really young. Even if Morning Musume did have international auditions it sucks that I'm too old for it now. TOT But what also is pretty cool everything I said I wanted to happen with 9th gen seems to be happening. Ok I said the 9th gen auditions would be announced in February and it's August, but that's still pretty close. I also said that Morning Musume also needs some young girls thrown into the mix, about 12 years old. And what do you know. This generation is accepting the youngest girls any generation has ever accepted. Then I also said Ai-chan will most likely pull a Yossie. Be around just long enough to train the new member(s) before graduating herself. I hope that actually happens. Ai-chan has been a member long enough. And so has Risa for that matter.

The world seems to stop as Morning Musume loses 3 members

Tsunku has announced at today's H!P Summer Concert that 3 members will be graduating from Morning Musume. Those members will be: 6th generation member Kamei Eri, and 8th generation members LinLin and JunJun. Eri will be graduation because she has been a long time sufferer of the skin disease atopic dermatitis. There is also no official plans for her activities after graduating from Morning Musume. LinLin and JunJun are graduating because they have honed their skills as singers, and are now grown up women. After graduating from Morning Musume LinLin and JunJun will be going back to China to focus on a career there. You can read Tsunku's full statement in Japanese and English here on Morning Musume's myspace blog.

I am in such a state of shock now that I can barely speak. It has literally taken me 15 minutes to start to write this. I am so speechless now. This news is so unexpected I'm at a loss for words. But let's just start from the beginning. When I first read 3 members were graduating I thought I was getting my dream. Ai, Risa, and Sayumi are finally going to graduate. But when I clicked on who was leaving I was flabbergasted. I read Eri and I was like "Oh no! That's horrible," but I could honestly take that. I mean she's 6th gen I could see it happening. But then when I read LinLin and JunJun I had to do a double take. I mean really, LinLin and JunJun? They are 8th gen for god's sake!

And right now that's where I am. I am officially over being on the verge of tears and I am in full on rant mode!
First off, and pardon my French, but are you fucking kidding me? The 8th generation is graduating but the 5th is safe for a another year or so! Ai and Risa have been in Morning Musume for 9 years. Nine years! Let them go already! Enough is enough! I know Ai-chan is the current vocal powerhouse of Momusu, but that's not my problem. If Tsunku would just spread the lines more he wouldn't be in this crippling co-dependency with Ai! He has made it so Morning Musume will fall apart without her, so she escapes another graduation! Well guess what, he's also now running the risk of Morning Musume falling apart with Ai-chan in it.
And why is that? Well I will tell you. Only 5 members of Morning Musume can actually sing. And those are Ai, Risa, Reina, Eri, and LinLin. Aika is a good singer too, but I'm talking about good enough to lead songs. And now 2 of those girls are leaving. Leaving Momusu basically an empty shell, for the time being of course. But I highly doubt any of the new 9th gen will be so spectacular that they lead their debut single. Let's be realistic here, we're most likely not going to have another Shabondama situation. Not only that, but who is going to take over Eri's lines during concerts? They made here such a big part of the singles!
And according to seniority Sayumi will most likely be taking over Eri's lines! Well I hope people remind me to bring my ear plugs every time I watch a Morning Musume concert from now on. Because Sayumi is garbage, absolute garbage. Don't feed me the, "well Sayumi has improved greatly," either because the girl can not sing. She can't. She's narcissistic and whiny. Bottom line, the only reason she is still a member of Morning Musume is because she's cute, looks good in a bikini, and the wota have a hard on for her. And it's just completely sad. And I know she's an idol, and idols aren't the best singers. But if you don't want to lose her profit have her go solo, put her in a group. Anything! But just get her out of Morning Musume.
She is taking up LinLin's spot! Listen to LinLin sing and tell me she wasn't robbed! You listen to LinLin's solo in Aozora ga Itsumademo Tsuzuku you na Mirai de Are from the Platinum 9 Disco concert and tell me that LinLin didn't deserve to be the sub-leader of Morning Musume one day. Just try to because you can't! Listen to her Chinese version of Watarasebashi on Bijou Houdan and tell me it wasn't so beautiful it didn't almost bring you to tears!

I just can not fathom what Tsunku was possibly thinking! This has got to be one of the worst decisions Tsunku has ever made. I understand the line up hasn't been changed in years, but to graduate 4 members in less than a year, is just too much! Especially 3 of my favorite members of Morning Musume! So until the 9th gen joins Morning Musume will be 3 members I hate, and 2 that I love. Not really the best odds there. And there's no way I will ever instantly love a 9th generation member. It took me 2 years to realize I love LinLin. Aika was just a fluke.

This is just too much bad news for me to possibly bare. I mean, I don't really follow Chinese music. So you might as well say I will never hear from LinLin again. And who's to say she will even have a career? Ice Creamusume have been MIA for like 2 years now. I can't even express how I am feeling in words. It's a mix between sadness and anger.

Ryo shows off his air guitar skills in new CM

Nishikido Ryo is staring in a new solo CM for 7-up Clear Dry. Which was just released a few hours ago.

First off, I am 100% sure that they don't make this product here in the US. And if they do I have never seen it or heard about it. The bottle even has the label used for 7-up products sold outside the US. But I don't see why they don't make it here. According to the bottle it's a zero calorie 7-up. Coke zero is really popular here, you'd think we'd have 70up Clear Dry too. But now I'm just rambling. XD

About the commercial itself, I like it. It's really adorable. I always love when Ryo shows his dorky side. And Ryo rocking on air guitar is pretty dorky. And apparently he was really shy while he was filming the commercial. Which just adds to the cute factor of it. And I must say I completely approve of a Ryo solo commercial. Yamapi is usually the one getting all the CMs. It's about time my beloved Ryo got another one.

NEWS to release 4th album, Live

Johnny's Entertainment groups NEWS is going to release their 4th studio album entitled Live. And that is literally all I can say about this. I can not find any information about this anywhere! All I am sure of so far is that a release date hasn't be announced yet.

Even though the facts surrounding this piece of news are sketchy, to say the least, it doesn't make me less excited for this. As some of you may know NEWS is my favorite JE group and I've been feeling NEWS deprived lately. A new CD is just the kind of thing that makes me happy. And breath a sigh of relief at my paranoid they're breaking up thoughts.

Even though I am overjoyed at the thought of a new NEWS CD, I really doubt I'll be able to buy it. Miyavi's first CD in a year and half is being released in October. And there's no way I'll be able to buy both. I'm going to have to think long and hard about which CD I decide to get. I hate decisions like this, I'll be disappointed either way. :/

Oh and also, please have NEWS pull a No More Pain. Give them a PV from th new album! I'm dying for a new PV!

Kan Kan to release first photobook and image DVD

Everyone's favorite, well maybe not everyone's but certainty my favorite, ex-Hello!Project member Arihara Kanna announced recently that she will be coming out with a photobook and image DVD in November. You can read the post yourself here.

I gotta say this completely took me off guard, I wasn't expecting this at all. Of course I knew Kan Kan was back in the entertainment business when she made her blog. But a photobook and image DVD, is the complete opposite of what I thought she was up too. Kanna made a few blog posts that she was filming something, and had to keep hush hush about it for the time being. But I just assumed she was filming a scene for a drama or commercial. I was convinced that she was becoming an actress. But apparently I was wrong, you know what they say about assuming. On the front page there's a link for contact at bluserosemodel. So apparently she's just going to be a model. Which makes me a little bit sad. I really want her to sing again! But she's still young so there's still hope for that.

But all of that aside, I am completely thrilled about her first photobook. Because let's me honest she probably never would have released one if she stayed in C-ute. So in a way leaving C-ute was the best thing Kanna ever did. She can completely live her life the way she wants to and have a better career than before. In a sense that all of the focus will finally be with her. I don't know, I'm starting to like her not being in C-ute more and more.
