The full PV for Berryz Koubou's upcoming single, Aa, yo ga Akeru, has been released.
I am absolutely in love with the PV. Finally it's a video that's not the same standard idol formula! After I saw the PV preview I had some fears that the entire PV was going to be nothing but them singing on the stairs. But there's actually a lot of elements in this PV. The video is filmed in this beautiful castle, and they actually make use of it. It seems like you get to see a nice chunk of the castle. Some of the girl's walk around, and each girl is in a seperate room for their close-up shots. They are also sitting on the stairs for the group singing parts, and the dance scene also has its own seperate room. Which makes the video pretty interesting because you never really see the same setting for that long. The only real fault you could find with this particular video is there's not actually a storyline. But I'm completely fine with that because there's so many different scenes in this PV you don't even notice that.
The PV really has everything going for it, it's interesting and the girls look gorgeous. Much like Buono's Natus Dakara PV, this PV seems to be one giant beauty shot. Which is an obvious plus.
This video as a whole just has a elegant, classy, and highend. It just has this sort of princess feel to it. The kind of vibe I wanted the Kimagure Princess PV to have.
This castle is beautiful.
Risako's room is gorgeous.
It sucks that Miyabi has to sit by the front door though. Lol.
Yurina looks gorgeous here.
This room is beautiful.
The contrast is so high you can't even see half of Risako's nose. XD
Yurina looks so amazing! *O*
Why does Chinami look so sad?
Risako's looks sad and pretty at the same time.
I love how Massa looks angry. Lol.
Yurina! There are no words! *O*
And all that jazz! XD The dance is actually a little awkward.
Momoko looks really pretty.
Hot! Is she wearing green contacts?
I love this hair on Saki.
Creepy face.
Everyone looks gorgeous here.
But it stil reminds me too much of their Very Beauty PV.
Gorgeous Risako.
I can't get over how super pretty Momoko looks in this PV.
Wow, Miyabi looks amazing.
Gorgeous!
Chinami looks pretty.
Look at Risako's legs. They go on for weeks!
Simple dance is simple.
Yurina just looks incredible in this PV.
And so does Miyabi.
My god! *O*

Berryz Koubou-Aa, Yoru ga Akeru 2nd PV preview
A 30 second commercial for Berryz's upcoming single, Aa, Yoru ga Akeru, is beginning to air. Giving us fans yet another sneak peek at the PV.
Most of this PV preview is the same as the last PV preview. Where is shows Berryz Koubou singing on stairs à la the Very Beauty PV. But beyond that we also get to see the close-up scenes, where everyone looks absolutely gorgeous. And from that we can see that it seems like the PV is set in a mansion. Which is a nice setting actually. A big improvement from the Ai no Dangan set. Let's hope they utilize the set to their full advantage. Because even though the setting is good, they could still mess up this PV. Like focusing too much on the stairs. XD

Berryz Koubou-Aa, Yoru ga Akeru PV preview
A TV show has just released a small preview of Berryz Koubou's upcoming single Aa, Yoru ga Akeru. Small being the operative word here, the PV preview is only about 13 seconds long.
In that 13 seconds we don't get to see a whole lot. All we see in Berryz sitting on stairs and singing the chorus. Which immediately made me flash back to their Very Beauty PV. There's not really much else going on in the preview. Except the girls looking every bit as lovely in this PV as they do on the covers. Which is always a plus.

Berryz Koubou-Aa, Yoru ga Akeru
The radio rip for Berryz Koubou's upcoming 27th single, Aa, Yoru ga Akeru, has just been released.
When I first listened to the radio rip, I wasn't expecting what I heard at all. The song is very weird sounding. It's like 2 different genres at once. It sounds like techno, diso, funk, and a ballad all rolled into one. And the music sounds like a bunch of different H!P songs jumbled together. It sounds like Furare Pattern, Suki Sugite Baka Mitai, Grand Demo Rouka Demo Medatsu Kimi, Happy! Stand Up, and Koi no Jubaku. Even though the song is almost a jumbled mess at times, I absolutely love every second of this song. The music is incredibly weird, infectious, and slightly addicting. And I love all the high notes at the end of the chorus. They sound really amazing. Especially Miyabi's. And I love all the little harmonizing she does in the middle of the song. But Yurina is really bringing it too. The one line she hits at the end is really amazing. I never really noticed how high of a range Yurina really has until I heard Heroine ni Narou ka. Now, if only she was better at singing live. XD
Even though I am love with the song, I'm a little dissapointed by the line distribution. The song is back to what most Berryz songs are. The 4 main singers and then you never hear the other members at all. I literally can't hear the other members. I'm sure they sing. But even at group parts you can barely hear their voices. I think the only other one you can kinda hear cleatly is Saki. And not only that, this song seems to mainly focus on Risako. Which is always boring, because they always focus on her. Just when it seems like Berryz is finally letting the other members sing, they make a song like this.

Berryz Koubou to release 27th single
It was just announced that Berryz Koubou will be releasing their 27th single. The single is entitled Aa, Yoru ga Akeru and will be released on August 10th. Which is just 2 months and 2 days after the release of Ai no Dangan. And this also makes Berryz the 3rd idol group to be releasing a single on August 10th. The other 2 being Kis-My-Ft2 and DiVA.
I'm really hoping that this single turns out to be good. Lately, every other single they release is awesome while the other single isn't that great. Maji Bomber was great, Shining Power not so much. Heroine ni Narou ka was amazing, Ai no Dangan could have been better. I just hope they don't release two duds in a row.
Also, I don't understand why Berryz is releasing another single so soon after their last one. Usually Berryz releases a new single every 3 or 4 months. Two months later just seems excessive.
You can of course buy this single from CDJapan by clicking the links below.

Berryz Koubou announces new single
It was announced recently that Berryz Koubou will be releasing their 27th single. As for now, the single in untitled but it will be released on August 10th.
I wish I could say that this was announced really soon after their last single but it's not really. Berryz usually releases a new single ever 3-4 months. Granted this is just a mere 2 months after the release of Ai no Dangan, but for Berryz that's really nothing. As my 2nd favorite H!P group I'm always looking forward to their next single. Let's hope it has a better PV than Ai no Dangan.
You can purcahse this album from CDJapan by clicking the links below.

A bullet Berryz can't dodge
With a little more than 2 weeks until the release date, Berryz Koubou has finally revealed the full PV for their upcoming single, Ai no Dangan.
After being utterly dissapointed by Ai no Dangan's PV, I shuttered to think what the full PV was actually going to be like. I was pretty happy to find that the PV wasn't as terrible as I had imagined it would be. I thought the PV was going to be close-ups and dances scenes, and that's it. Done, finished. However, that wasn't the case. Yes, it was mostly just close-ups and dance scenes, but this is H!P we are talking about. They hardly every venture outside of that comfort zone. This PV actually did try to be more exciting and dynamic. It was trying really hard to be interesting and impress the viewer. It was like the little PV that could. However, this PV never started it's engine down the proverbial train tracks. Instead we are left with remnants of what could have been a decent PV all jumbled together in hopes of making something watchable and half way decent.
There were a lot of gems in the PV that if they were executed correctly could have made for an outstanding and incredible PV.
For one the Abstract imagery throughout the PV. Abstract images and effects were scattered throughout the entire PV. But only used here and there and not really often enough. The images are mostly used for the dance scenes as something interesting to dance in front of. However, you hardly even notce it's there with the mixure of Berryz themselves blocking the view, and quite honestly wanting to pay more attention to the girls themselves, since they are the main reason you're watching the PV.
There are a few awesome scenes where they have purikura looking shapes pop up on the screen. Which by the way is my absolute favorite part of the whole PV. However, there are only flashes of these. And they are rarely used on the most opportune moments. They are the most visually appealing, and attention grabbing aspects of the PV. It's just really sad that they are used more. And the one opportunity they had to go all out effects wise was the background of the close-ups. However, they completely blew it. I guess they didn't want it to be too distracting so you wouldn't focus on the girls. But instead the results was just a very muted, understated, and slightly boring background image.
The opening screen in really pretty. Too bad the rest of the PV can't be this way. :/
Come on, with Maasa looking like this what are you going to really notice?
I love this effect.
Miya looks super pretty, but I just hate the background.
Here's another cool effect. But it's done at such an awkward time, that it's more distracting than interesting.
I guess color changing was done to amp up the PV. I'm not really impressed though.
This isn't really an effect, but I absolutely love the whole bond girls silhouettes.
The second thing being the projection images. Once I realized that the girls were on giant projection screens I was immediately intrigued by the whole concept. But yet again, it was a concept that looked much better on the drawing board. What the director of the PV must not of realized was if you film projection screens they quality is extremely poor. Mostly because any image blow up about 400 times the original size is going to massivly loose quality.
However, once I saw Berryz Koubou playing around with the projections by walking out of the screen, I was again mesmerized. Only to again be dissapointed. They only play with the screen that one time they walk out of it. I was expecting there to be more elements than that going on. They could have been trapped in the screen, done solo dances next to themself on the screen, or something else.
Why would anyone every purposely makes scenes with such bad quality?
I get that the projections were supposed to be creative, but ever single scene is just has horrible quality.
Not gonna lie, I was pretty blown away by this. XD
Another thing I didn't like was the motorcycles. Midway through the PV for absolutely no reason at all there are scenes with Berryz and motorcycles. Standing by them, sitting on them, trying to look sexy by them. I do realize that this was done to add some sexy appeal to the PV. But it was completely pointless. How are motorcycles even remotely relevant for a song called Love's Bullet or Bullet of Love?
Completely pointless.
The added effect doesn't even make it relevant.
Of course I alo have to talk about the dance. The dance is completely awakward. It's trying to be sexy and alluring but failing miserably. The dance moves themselves are too simple and sometimes stupid.
The dance consists of a lot of upward pointing.
Awkward.
WTF worthy hand holding move.
Lolz hip shake.
Here's the completely unsexy butt shake.
Crouching isn't even a dance move!Much like most recent H!P PVs the only redeeming quality about it is the girls. Berryz are looking quite cute and sexy in the video.
Risako looks gorgeous. Momoko is a cutie.
Gorgeous.
Hot.
Maasa looks really pretty.
