Jumping to my dream

In rather exciting news and turn of events for myself, I have successfully preorder the Limited Edition version of Hey! Say! JUMP's first album, JUMP No. 1! And I honestly could not be happier! But because I overanalyze every situation, of course I still have underlined mixed feeling about this. And what could possibly be a downfall to this? The CD itself.

Usually when I hear about my favorite idol group releasing a new album I don't really care what the album songs sound like too much. Well, obviously I want them to be good, since I'd complain a lot if they weren't. What I mean is, I never really care that much if they suck because I never actually get the CDs. So, it's no skin off my bones if they're not up to standards. I usually like to hear a CD before I buy, or have my mom buy it. XD But this is the first CD I'm actually getting the same time it's released in Japan. Sure, I could have taken the safe way out and waited until I heard the songs. But there was no way I was going to settle for Regular edition. And it's not very often I have the opportunity to actually get a Japanese CD that's not several years old. So of course I had to take advantage of that. And I'm really excited to get JUMP's first album but at the same time, I'm a little bit worried that the album is going to be terrible. It's a little too much like Russian roulette for my taste. I'm obviously a JUMP fan, I know what their music is like, and I know what their music will probably sound like in the future. But at the same time there's always that fear that either the songs will be flat out be terrible, or I personally won't care for them. I had the same joy filled panic when 10 My Me first came out, but luckily the album was actually really great. But that's because a Morning Musume CD hasn't disappointed me yet. But JUMP is pretty much a mystery. Sure I like a majority of their B-sides and unreleased songs. But there are still a few I don't like that much like Salsa Ii na Ii ne and Kawaii Kimi no Koto da Mono. And Switch I'm on the fence about.

On YY Jumping Hey! Say! BEST preformed a new song called School Days a few weeks ago. But I'm just hearing about it now, because they just preformed it again. XD

I didn't really like the beginning too much cause it sounds really 70s like. But I started liking it a whole lot more when Daiki started to sing. The song itself isn't bad. The beginning is a little weird, but once it's gets into the chorus it's good. I'd rate it about a 6/10 or 7/10. It's not amazing but it's not terrible. And of course it has to have added Johnny's corniness.
I felt it was important to mention this song, since it's a new song and is obviously going to be on the album.
